The Fletcher Academy, an independent school in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a full-time special education instructor to lead a mixed elementary classroom for the 2024-2025 academic year.

A bachelor's or master's degree in math education is required. Candidates who possess special education certification / endorsement, along with significant special education teaching experience are preferred, but not required.

Fletcher is a small school with a very favorable average student to teacher ratio, offering very small class sizes of 5 to 10 students. We DO NOT specialize in serving students with behavior disorders; instead, our students struggle with a host of learning differences, including ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and other learning challenges.
